Long Distance PoE and Data Extension Solution
PLANET POE-E101 is a newly designed and simple device which extends both the reach of Ethernet Data and IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet over the standard 100m (328 ft.) CAT5e/6 UTP cable to 200m, 300m or longer distance.Currently, PoE supported networking devices such as PoE IP cameras, PoE wireless access points and PoE IP phones have become the mainstream of network deployment because of the convenience of easy installation regardless of additional power supply. However, limited by the UTP cable specifications, only up to 100 meters (328 ft.) of cable could be applied for IP-based and PoE powered devices (PD) installation. Therefore, the POE-E101 is designed as the repeater to forward both Ethernet data and PoE power, thus extending the range of the PoE powered device installation. By just plug and play but with no additional power supply or setup required, one single POE-E101 can increase the PoE range to 200m. By daisy-chaining multiple PoE-E101s, it offers you great flexibility to extend the distance of PoE network to triple or quadruple.

The POE-E101 PoE Extender is quite easy to be installed by simple plug and play. It is used between a power sourcing equipment (PSE) and a powered device (PD); it injects power to the PD without affecting the data transmission performance. The POE-E101 offers a cost effective and quick solution to doubling the standard range of PoE from 100 to 200 meters. There are 2 RJ-45 ports in a compact mini box of PoE Extender, of which the IN port functions as “PoE (Data and Power) input” and the other port on the other side functions as “PoE (Data and Power) output”. The “PoE OUT” port is also the power injectors which transmit DC voltage to the Cat5e/6 cable and transfer data and power simultaneously between the PSE and PD.

POE-151

PLANET POE-151 is an IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet Injector that provides DC 48V over Ethernet cables. The POE-151 IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet Injector inserts DC voltage into Cat.5 cable, allowing the cable between the Injector (POE-151) and Splitter (POE-151S-5V/9V/12V) to transfer data and power simultaneously. The maximum distance between the Injector (POE-151) and Splitter (POE-151S-5V/9V/12V) is 100 meters. With POE-151 being installed, it combines the Ethernet digital data with power over the twisted pair cables as an IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet Injector. And the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet splitter will split the digital data and the power into two outputs.

With IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet devices being installed, the system administrator only has to use a single RJ-45 Ethernet cable to carry both power and data to each device. Besides, when used with the POE-151S-5V/9V/12V, the POE-151 can offer the benefits of cost saving, easy networking planning and higher reliability. What’s more, upon any IEEE 802.3af devices being installed, the POE-151 or together with POE-151S-5V/9V/12V can make the connection while migrating or splitting the power and the Ethernet digital packets, such as connecting the POE-151 to an IEEE 802.3af complied device, AP or IP phone.

PLANET POE-400 is a 4-port IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet injector hub which complies with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3af standards. Equipped with 4 10/100Base-TX Fast Ethernet ports, the POE-400 supports full 48V DC power for any remote IEEE 802.3af powered device (PD) like wireless LAN access points, IP phones, and LAN cameras. Supporting power supply of 70 watts, the POE-400 provides sufficient power to the 4 remote devices.

There are 8 RJ-45 STP ports on the POE-400. Half of the ports on the right panel function as “Data” and the other half on the left panel function as “Data and Power”. Each of the “Data and Power” port is an injector which inserts DC voltage into the CAT 5 cable to allow the cable between the Injector and Splitter to transfer data and power simultaneously.

PLANET POE Managed PoE Injector Hub series, a cost-effective and quick PoE solution, is designed to perfectly upgrade an existing network infrastructure to IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus network system without replacing the existing Ethernet Switch.

Both power and data are transferred simultaneously over the UTP cables to PDs without affecting the existing network performance and functions.
