Using the GV-POS S/W Capture, you can directly connect the GV-DVR / NVR / VMS to the POS device which is of Windows system generating RAW or EML file format. The POS transaction data is transferred to GV-DVR / NVR / VMS via a RS-232 serial cable or TCP/IP connection. The transaction data will be overlaid on live images or recordings.

A GV-LPR1200, GV-DSP LPR, GV-DVR LPR or GV-VMS LPR recognizes license plates detected in the video source, and sends the LPR results to GV-ASManager. Access can be granted when the detected license plate numbers match the vehicle registered in GV-ASManager’s database. Alarm notifications and playing back LPR results are also supported. |

| The GV-3D People Counter integrates Asus Xtion Pro to count and analyze the number of people passing by the designated detection area. GV-Failover Server
GV-Failover Server is a video backup server that records up to 128 IP streams from hosts GV-Systems / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server when any of the following conditions occurs: (1) when the host GV-System / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server starts up without monitoring; (2) when file recycling fails; (3) when there is an error in the hard drive; (4) when the connection between host and IP camera fails; (5) when the host GV-System / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server fails.
Note:
1. GV-Failover Server does not support GV-VMS hosts when they are running in service mode. It is highly suggested not to enable “Service Mode”.
2. The GV-Failover Server does not support backup of analog cameras.
3. It is highly recommended to connect to no more than 128 IP streams from hosts GV-Systems / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server. For example, you can connect to:
- Four 32-ch GV-System. OR
- Two 64-ch GV-VMS. OR

GV-Redundant Server
GV-Redundant Server is a video backup server designed for large-scale video surveillance deployments. It can record up to 128 IP channels connected to GV-System / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server. As its name suggests, the GV-Redundant Server keeps an extra copy of recordings for IP channels connected to GV-System / GV-VMS / GV-Recording Server.

| The GV-Backup Center program provides you with a secure and affordable remote backup solution for the GV-System, GV-VMS, GV-Recording Server and GV-IP Devices. The GV-Backup Center can automatically store a copy of recordings and logs to the offsite location. If a disaster strikes where the GV-System, GV-VMS, GV-Recording Server or GV-IP Devices are located, the recording data remain safe in a different location. |
GV-GIS
| The GV-GIS is a GIS (Geographic Information System) based central management system for GeoVision devices.
The vehicle tracking and remote location verification from the GV-GIS is made possible by the GPS receiver attached to GV-Video Server and GV-Compact DVR to constantly obtain the GPS data (vehicle coordinates and speed) from the satellite, and through mobile internet connection (e.g. UMTS, EV-DO, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, etc) to transmit the GPS data to the GV-GIS. Besides real-time vehicle tracking, you can also monitor the location of cameras and the status of I/O devices from the DVR and NVR, without GPS functions for city surveillance. |
